Final decision due on 320-home farmland plans
A final planning decision on more than 300 new homes in Surrey is due on Tuesday.
Councillors are set to approve the layout and appearance of the homes planned for land north of Coxbridge Farm, in West Street, Farnham.
Outline permission was granted in June 2023 for the development on the edge of the town, which includes 96 affordable homes.
A special planning meeting will be held at Waverley Borough Council, and officers say the plans should be approved.
Council documents say the 11.44 hectare site is bordered to the north by woodland, to the south by Coxbridge Farmhouse, farmyard and industrial units, as well as by a care home and an Area of Great Landscape Value on other sides.
Plans for 320 new homes, submitted by Cala Homes, were met with objection by residents in neighbouring Hazell Road.
