A digital agency hopes to celebrate 25 years in business by carrying out 25 "acts of kindness" for organisations in the West Midlands.

Clickingmad, based in Bridgnorth in Shropshire, said its birthday campaign would include providing free help with website design for charities and community projects.

The agency said it aimed to provide £75,000 worth of free digital services and other support, spread across 25 beneficiaries.

Shaun Carvill, the company's managing director, said he was keen to hear from organisations across the region that would like to take part.

The agency, which specialises in website design, development and digital marketing, said its "acts of kindness" would also include help with fundraising and volunteering projects.

Little Stars in Oswestry, a charity that provides items such as nappies, cots and second-hand children's clothes for vulnerable families, is one of the organisations selected so far.

Headway in Shrewsbury, a charity that supports people who have suffered brain injuries, has also been chosen.

"Reaching 25 years in business is a major milestone for Clickingmad, and we wanted to mark the occasion by contributing in a meaningful way," Mr Carvill said in a statement.

He added that "many charities and community-interest organisations struggle with outdated digital platforms" and the agency hoped to help with this.

Stuart Anderson, the Conservative MP for South Shropshire, visited Clickingmad's offices in Bridgnorth this week to launch the campaign in his constituency.
