Large search as yacht found with no-one on board

A search has been launched after a yacht was found aground with no-one on board in Cornwall.
HM Coastguard said it received reports at 20:15 BST on Friday about the vessel at Chapel Point, between Gorran Haven and Portmellon.
It said Mevagissey Coastguard Rescue Team had been sent to the scene, alongside a helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft. Devon and Cornwall Polic and RNLI lifeboats from Looe, The Lizard and Falmouth are also in attendance.
Coastguard officials said crews found nobody on board the boat, which the BBC understands came from Roscoff, and a large search operation was ongoing on Saturday.
Searches were being focused predominately on the sea, the coastguard added.
UK Border Force staff have been to the scene.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called by the coastguard shortly before 22:00 and staff were supporting inquiries on land in relation to concerns for people linked to the yacht.
