Police are looking for a man who exposed himself to a woman who was walking her dog in Devon.

Officers said the man stood over the woman while she was putting her dog on a lead on a public footpath between Otterton and St Mary's Church, Bicton, near Budleigh Salterton, at about 12:40 GMT on Sunday.

The man reportedly exposed himself before saying it was a "lovely day", Devon and Cornwall Police said.

The force described the suspect as a thin, white male who was about 5ft 8in (1.7m) in height and in his late 20s.

Police said he had pale skin and an English accent and was wearing a black hat with ear flaps, blue jeans, a tanned sweatshirt, dark blue waterproof and a jacket tied around his waist.

The man walked off towards Otterton Mill after the woman questioned him, officers said.

Anyone with information was asked to contact police.
