Rail line reopens after car crashed into wall

A train line in Aberdeen that was forced to close after a car crashed into a wall above the track has now reopened.
The line between Aberdeen and Dyce had to be closed at about 21:00 on Saturday, while police sealed off the area at Donbank Terrace.
Specialist engineers were called in to assess the damage and decide what work was needed on the bridge parapet. Debris also had to be removed from the area.
Network Rail said that the line had now reopened just before 04:00 on Monday after the repairs. Police Scotland has been investigating the crash.
