Jersey Airport warns of busy Christmas travel
Ports of Jersey has warned of a busy Christmas period with more than 20,000 people set to fly across four days.
The operator said about 218 flights have been scheduled at the airport between Friday and Tuesday, with up to 22,000 people expected to travel.
It has urged passengers to "arrive in good time" for flights, adding queues should be expected.
Ports said any presents in hand luggage should remain unwrapped.
In addition to regular services to and from the UK, Ports said charters to Tenerife and Maderia would also be operating.
"With this many busy flights, passengers can expect some queuing and should therefore leave plenty of time to check in their hold luggage and clear security," it added.
Ports said motorists were able to use the overflow car park.
