Gang took over man's home to supply drugs
PA MediaTen people have admitted being part of a drugs gang that operated from a property in Sheffield.
The gang took over a home in the city after stealing the owner's keys and bank card, South Yorkshire Police said.
They forced the victim to sleep on the kitchen floor while they ran their drugs operation from his home - a practice known as "cuckooing".
The 10 defendants - from Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Ilford and Colchester - admitted conspiracy to supply Class A drugs at Sheffield Crown Court on Wednesday.
Guilty pleas
The group were charged following a year-long police investigation.
Cuckooing is the term used to describe someone's house being taken over for criminal activity, often for dealing drugs or for sex work.
The people who pleaded guilty are:
Mohammed Othman, 29, of Club Garden Road, Sheffield
Mohammed Ali, 36, of Harwood Close, Sheffield
Sanad Ali, 23, of Washington Road, Sheffield
Kian Bruff, 18, of Coventry Road, Ilford
Mckenzie Bouzin, 19, of Middle Hay Place, Sheffield
Muad Kulaib, 25, Washington Road, Sheffield
Callum Mayo, 19, of Mapplebeck Road, Sheffield
Masimba Mwanjira, 19, of Roberts Road Colchester
Christian Mayamba, 19, of Wood Street, Barnsley, who also pleaded guilty to theft and fraud
Jenade Brown, 20, of Ingshead Avenue, Rotherham
Bruff, Mayo, Mwanjira and Brown were released on bail and the other defendants were remanded in custody.
They will all be sentenced at the same court on 30 January.
