Crawley shopping centre gets new parking system

A West Sussex shopping centre has introduced what it calls an "improved" parking system following complaints from some users.
Crawley's County Mall said visitors could now use a simple, ticketless entry system with contactless payment available directly at the exit barriers.
It added this would make things "easier and more convenient for visitors".
Simon Cuckow, County Mall centre manager, said he understood previous parking arrangements "were causing some frustration".
"We listened carefully to customer feedback," he added.
Mr Cuckow said the new system would "remove the worry of fines".
The shopping centre said the new system in the 1,700-space car park was cashless.
It added that, while no fines are being issued, the exit barrier will only lift once payment has been made.
Parking costs start from £2.70, the centre added.
