M23 partially shut after lorry crash diesel spill

A section of the M23 in West Sussex is closed due to a diesel spillage caused by a lorry crash.
Police, fire crews and paramedics responded at about 04:00 BST on Sunday after a lorry crossed the motorway's central barrier near Crawley.
The southbound carriageway is closed between junctions 10 and 11 while the large diesel spillage is cleared away.
The third lane of the northbound carriageway is also closed due to the damage to the central reservation barrier.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: "Recovery of the lorry was completed at around 07:25 this morning, however the southbound carriageway remains closed to allow assessments of both the road surface and central reservation barrier to take place.
"Once assessments are complete emergency resurfacing may be required, which will impact the re-opening of the road."
Sussex Police confirmed there were no injuries.
A diversion is in place meaning drivers should leave the motorway at junction 10 and take the third exit onto the A2011, westbound, towards the Tushmore Gyratory.
At the gyratory, continue westbound onto the A23, passing through four roundabout junctions before rejoining the M23 at junction 11.
