Family's 'immeasurable pain' after motorcyclist's death

A family have spoken of their "immeasurable pain" after the death of a "talented" motorcyclist.

Dexter Milbourne, 21, was killed on 24 July when his blue Yamaha bike hit a parked grey BMW 620 on Greenfield High Street, near Flitwick, at about 04:00 BST.

"He was ridiculously funny, generous, and loved by everyone who met him. He had so much love and so much of his life left to live," his family said.

"The pain and heartache we are in as a family is immeasurable. Our lives have changed forever."

The family also thanked people who left flowers and tributes at the crash site, those who called the emergency services, and paramedics that attended the scene.

Their statement continued: “Dexter was a talented rider. He loved his bikes, from riding a quad bike at two years old, getting into motocross at four and racing at six, through autos to 250cc, the events, races and tracks all over the UK."

"Weekends spent in muddy paddocks with family and friends from all over are fond memories for us all," they added.

Bedfordshire Police has continued to appeal for witnesses or people who may have dashcam or doorbell footage from the location at that time.
