Duo charged over girl's death after night out
Two 18-year-olds have been charged over the death of a girl during a night out in Exeter.
Lucy Hill, 16, of Exmouth, died in hospital on 3 December 2022 after collapsing at the Move club, with an inquest being told she had taken a tablet believed to be MDMA - another name for ecstasy.
Devon and Cornwall Police said Taylor Rowsell, of Rosebery Road, Exmouth, and James Greaves, of Basset Road, Camborne, have been charged with being concerned with the supply of ecstasy and the supply of a Class A drug.
The pair have been bailed and are due to appear at Exeter Magistrates' Court next month, police added.
The force said an 18-year-old Exmouth woman who was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug has been given an adult caution for the offence.
No further action is being taken against another 18-year-old woman from Exmouth who was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug, police said.
