Two people are believed to have sustained serious injuries following a crash in Devon, say police.

Devon and Cornwall Police said two people were taken to hospital following the crash at Whitchurch Down in Tavistock.

Police said officers, along with other emergency services, were called to the scene at 14:30 GMT on Thursday.

"Emergency services remain at the scene, " police said.

Police also said the road was "partially blocked".
