Three people are in hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving two cars.

It happened on Friday at about 18:45 GMT on Dean Clough, Halifax.

West Yorkshire Police said a black VW Golf was heading towards Ovenden when it crashed with a grey Seat Ibiza near the junction with Corporate Street.

The driver of the Seat and two passengers in the Golf were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Golf was also taken to hospital.

Police have appealed for witnesses to get in touch.
