Three people have been arrested after two men were injured in a fight in Leeds.

Police were called shortly after 17:00 GMT on Tuesday to reports of a violent altercation in and around Kirkgate Market and the nearby NCP car park.

One man was taken to hospital with injuries to his head and hand, while another, who had made his way back to a property in Atkinson Street in Hunslet, was taken to hospital by air ambulance with hip and hand injuries.

West Yorkshire Police said none of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening, adding a 21-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy had been arrested.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the force.
