Celebrity football match raises funds for hospice

Soap actors, reality TV stars and TikTok influencers are set to take part in a charity football match in West Sussex.
The celebrities are helping to raise funds for children's hospice Chestnut Tree House at Bognor Regis Town FC's Nyewood Lane on Sunday at 15:00 GMT.
Among those playing are Sussex-based The Apprentice runner-up Phil Turner, ex-EastEnders actors Ricky Groves and Dean Gaffney, Calum Best, the son of football legend George Best, and ex-England cricketer Monty Panesar.
Mr Turner said: "I'm really looking forward to the chance to play and at the same time raise money for such a deserving cause."
He said: "The work they do is simply wonderful and we'd love to see as many supporters come along to enjoy the day and give what they can to help with the financing of the hospice."
Ricky Groves told BBC Radio Sussex: "I do come on for five or 10 minutes, but I'm much better off at entertaining the crowd."
"It is good to raise money for a worthy local charity," he added.

Chestnut Tree House provides hospice care services and community support for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in East and West Sussex and parts of Hampshire.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "Almost £6m is needed every year to provide hospice care for local children and their families.
"Very little of this comes from the government. The rest comes from the amazing donations we receive and fundraising."
