Man dies after boat fire on Christmas Day

A man has died after a fire broke out on a boat near a pub on Christmas Day.
Emergency services were called to the blaze on the River Avon at the Anchor Inn in Wyre Piddle, Worcestershire, at about 07:30 GMT on Wednesday.
Three fire engines were sent to the incident along with officers from West Mercia Police and paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the man's death and said an investigation into the cause of the blaze was ongoing.
