Former police worker in court for firearms charges
A former Lincolnshire Police worker charged with firearms offences has appeared in court.
Zoe Watts, 38, who had worked as a police community support officer for more than eight years, was arrested after armed officers were deployed to her home on 11 December.
She is charged with possessing a firearm when prohibited for five years, possessing a firearm without a certificate and manufacturing a weapon.
Ms Watts, of St Helen's Avenue, Lincoln, appeared before Judge Simon Hirst at Lincoln Crown Court on Monday.
Appearing via a videolink from HMP Peterborough, Ms Watts spoke only to confirm her name.
Tom Heath, defending Ms Watts, said there would be no application for bail.
No pleas were entered and she remains remanded in custody.
Ms Watts will appear before the court again on 13 February for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
