Police are appealing for witnesses after a sex attack on a woman in a park in Derby.

Derbyshire Police said the victim was walking along a path from Kedleston Road into Markeaton Park on Thursday at about 16:15 GMT.

As she crossed a small bridge, a man "wearing all black clothes, a coat with large pockets, grey latex gloves and sunglasses" attacked her, the force added.

The man is described as being between 20 and 30 years old, 6ft 3in tall (1.9m) and of medium build.

Police want to speak to anyone who was in the area between 16:00 and 17:00.
