Woman, 70, dies after collision with lorry

A 70-year-old woman who was involved in a collision with a lorry has died, police said.

Essex Police closed the A120 between Marks Tey and Braintree for several hours after the incident near Coggeshall on Tuesday.

The woman, who was driving a car at the time, died at the scene shortly after 14:40 BST.

Police said no arrests had been made as officers continued to appeal for witnesses.
