Uncovering the sunken relics of an ancient city
From the 8th century BCE, travelling Greeks in search of opportunity founded hundreds of colonies around the Mediterranean and the Black Sea. One of the earliest and most prosperous was Apollonia Pontica, now the town of Sozopol in Bulgaria.
