How an advanced civilisation vanished 2,500 years ago
The Tartessos were a Bronze Age society that flourished in the Iberian Peninsula in southern Spain some 3,000 years ago. They were a near-mythic civilisation, rich in resources and technologies. But the advanced society vanished mysteriously some 2,500 years ago. Researchers are now looking into how and why the Tartessos disappeared.
