The last remaining lamplighters of London
Meet London's last lamplighters, five men whose job it is to maintain London's last remaining Victorian gas lamps, a tradition which dates back to 1812 and one steeped in history. Their unique vocation takes them to some of the capital's most historic districts, areas which give a real sense of what London would have been like over 200 years ago, when these lamps first stood. Every lamp tells a story.
