Why do you enjoy eating your favourite food? It seems like an obvious one, right? You’re probably thinking: ‘Because it tastes good’. But the psychology and biology of food choice and flavour preference is some of the most fascinating science out there.

In this video, Kimberley Wilson, a psychologist with a master's degree in nutrition, explains why we evolved to like or dislike different flavours, how some of our preferences are influenced from before we are born, and how you can go about changing that.
