Scrupulosity: The obsessive fear of not being good enough

Scrupulosity is a lesser-known form of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), where people become obsessed with unwanted, intrusive thoughts that violate their moral or religious beliefs.

Shay, who was diagnosed with OCD in his mid-30s, was 'baffled' when he first recognised his symptoms of scrupulosity. Like a record player stuck in a loop, Shay's obsessions were unbearable and constant. He often wondered: What do these thoughts mean about me?
