The utopian town built by 8,000 people in the desert
Arcosanti, located in the high desert of Arizona, is an experimental town designed to integrate architecture with ecology.
Since the 1970s, close to 8,000 volunteers have participated in constructing Arcosanti, and dozens of architects and urban designers continue to study, work and live there today.
