Crews begin cutting to clear Baltimore bridge wreckage

Work began Saturday to start removing the first piece of wreckage after last week's collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland.

As crews work to clear the debris, the US Coast Guard is also preparing a channel that would allow commercial and official vessels to enter the port.

Maryland Governor Wes Moore said portions of the collapsed bridge will need to be cut into pieces for cranes to lift them and clear the area.
