Apple monopoly lawsuit: Company accused of 'creating barriers' to protect iPhone

US Attorney General Merrick Garland says Apple has illegally created barriers to prevent users from leaving the company's ecosystem in order to protect its share of the smartphone market.

The top US prosecutor was laying out a landmark lawsuit against the tech giant.

Apple denies the claims and has vowed to "vigorously" fight the lawsuit.
