Afghanistan: Top US general warns of al-Qaeda threat

A reconstituted al-Qaeda or Islamic State with aspirations to attack the US is a very real possibility in the next 12-36 months, a top US general has warned.

Gen Mark Milley issued the warning during a Senate hearing on the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.
