Dublin: Irish police commissioner condemns disorder

Garda Commissioner (head of the Irish police force) Drew Harris has condemned violent scenes in Dublin on Thursday evening.

Crowds of protestors have gathered in Parnell Square East, where an attack in which five people were injured happened earlier.

Officers have used riot shields and batons, while a number of police vehicles have been damaged.
