Light show marks National Gallery's 200th year
The National Gallery has celebrated its bicentenary with a light show projected on the front of its central London home.
The display formed part of celebrations commemorating 200 years since the institution first opened.
Throughout the year, the gallery will be holding events celebrating its past and looking forward to its future, including art installations across the UK, collaborations with social media creators and a free festival of art in Trafalgar Square in the summer for children and families.
