Starmer 'truly shocked' by state of the prison system

Sir Keir Starmer says he was "truly shocked" by the state of the prison system "inherited" from the previous government.

Speaking to the BBC's Mark Easton, the prime minister says prisoners in England and Wales will have to be released early to avoid "an absolute crisis" in prisons.
