Kettering Town fans have praised the side's "fight and grit" after their 2-1 win at Northampton Town in the FA Cup.

The Poppies - of the seventh tier - pulled off the biggest shock of the first round with victory over their League One near-neighbours.

One fan leaving Sixfields said: "We may not be the best team in the world... but we've got fight, we've got grit."

Another said: "It's what you dream of as a non-league football fan."
