From class to orbit: Students design and launch satellite
It all started with a question: "Can we go to space?"
For Arabi Karteepan, a physics teacher at Croydon High School for Girls, the response was naturally "yes, why not?"
The students then spent a year designing and creating a CubeSat, a miniature satellite which records how sunlight comes through the Earth's orbit.
Now launched into low Earth's orbit, it's made their dreams of going to space one step closer.
