Tornadoes touch down in Florida ahead of Hurricane Milton
A tornado was spotted making its way across Interstate 75 in Big Cypress, Florida as residents throughout the state evacuate and brace for Hurricane Milton, due to make landfall late Wednesday.
A second twister was seen in Pembroke Pines near Fort Lauderdale.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a tornado watch for most of southern Florida, suggesting conditions will "favour supercell development with a potential for tornadoes".
