Tory MP Jenrick says it 'could get worse' for his party
Conservative MP Robert Jenrick, a possible contender to replace Rishi Sunak as Tory leader, says things "could get worse" for his party if it does not "repent" for "past mistakes" on immigration and other issues.
Speaking to Political Thinking with Nick Robinson, Mr Jenrick warned against assuming that the recent general election defeat would be the Tories' "lowest ebb".
The former immigration minister said people were "angry and frustrated" about the party's failure to tackle "crucial issues" such as immigration.
