'I lost my house because of the Post Office scandal'

A former sub-postmaster has described the anguish of becoming bankrupt as a result of the Post Office scandal.

Leanne, who ran a branch in St Philips Marsh, Bristol, from 2006-2009, shared her experience as the first volume of the official inquiry report was published earlier.

More than 900 sub-postmasters were wrongly prosecuted for false accounting, theft and fraud in what is thought to be one of the biggest miscarriages of justices in UK history.

Leanne and her parents had to sell their homes to pay off her debt, but she said the real victims were the people who lost their lives.
