Tonyrefail murder: Crimestoppers issue £10,000 reward

A reward of up to £10,000 is being offered for information on the murder of a man from Rhondda Cynon Taff.

Jamie Perkins, 41, from Tonyrefail, was last seen on 12 October in Gilfach Goch and his body was found three weeks later in Bog Lane.

Crimestoppers said police believe people in the community may know what happened to Mr Perkins and why he died.

South Wales Police said four people have been arrested in connection with his death but nobody has been charged.

The charity said he would be "sorely missed by his family, including his father and young son".

It is offering the reward for information it receives that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.

Ella Rabaiotti, Crimestoppers manager for Wales, said: "Jamie had a young son, who will now have to grow up without his father.

"The circumstances of how he was found are deeply distressing for his family.

"There are a lot of questions that need answering surrounding Jamie's murder and I am asking local people to speak up and tell us what you know."
