A funeral has been held for one of three teenagers who died after the car they were in crashed with a bus.

Mourners wore blue scarves, ties and other blue accessories for the service.

There were floral tributes bearing Jesse's name and the word "bro", as well as a trainer-shaped arrangement.

In a statement after the crash, Jesse's family, from Penygraig, said he was "loved by all" who knew him.

They described him as a "loving, happy, kind, calm and beautiful soul" who would do "absolutely anything for anyone".

Songs played at the private chapel in Williamstown, Tonypandy, included Adele's When we Were Young, which was described in the order of service as "Jesse's guilty pleasure".

McFly's It's All About You was also chosen to be played by his parents.

Jesse died at the scene after the Audi A1 he was thought have been driving was involved in a crash with a bus on Coedely's Elwyn Street.

An inquest opening in December heard that six people were in the Audi A1 at the time - a car designed to hold four or five people.

Two other people, Lucas Vaughan, 18, and Sam Griffiths, 19, were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following the incident.

The funerals of Morgan Smith and Callum Griffiths are expected to take place next week.

Callum's family said the Porth teenager had a "beautiful smile that would light up the room".

Morgan, from Clydach Vale, was said to have had a promising boxing career ahead of him by relatives who said they were "devastated" by his loss.
