Rhos-on-Sea: Man in 80s dies after fire at property

A man has died after a property caught ablaze.

Firefighters said they were called by police to Marston Drive, Rhos-on-Sea, Conwy county, at 08:34 GMT on Wednesday.

They said police found signs of fire at the residence and discovered the dead man, believed to be in his 80s, in a bedroom.

Police and firefighters are undertaking a joint investigation. The fire service offered its sympathies to the family.
