A third series of Welcome to Wrexham has been confirmed.

Wrexham AFC said in a post on social media that the documentary series would return and that it was "ready to put on a show".

The series on Disney+ documents the progress of the club after being taken over by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds in 2021.

Season two was released on 12 September and followed the club's return to the football league after 15 years.

The success of Wrexham AFC and the popularity of the documentary has led to a boom in interest in both the club and the city.

One Wrexham business owner previously said customers were travelling from as far afield as the US, Canada and Australia.

A leading economist said the club's recent success had put a spotlight on all businesses across north Wales.
