Presteigne school locked down after defence firm burglary
A high school has been locked down after a break-in at a nearby defence company.
Dyfed-Powys Police was called to reports of a burglary at Broadaxe Business Park, Presteigne, Powys at about 06:35 GMT.
The American-owned defence firm Teledyne Technologies said it was "cooperating with UK-wide law enforcement agencies".
Two women, aged 65 and 41, and two men, aged 34 and 39, were arrested.
The John Beddoes campus of Newtown High School, which is next to the business park, was locked down following advice from the police, Powys council said.
The four suspects said they were a part of a protest group.
Teledyne Technologies said: "We deplore any criminal damage to our sites. Fortunately none of our employees or neighbours were injured.
"We are cooperating with local and UK-wide law enforcement agencies."
