Wrexham: Cyclist hurt in suspected hit-and-run

A cyclist is thought to have been seriously hurt in a suspected hit-and-run, police have said.

North Wales Police said the cyclist was hit on Ruabon Road, Wrexham, at around 15:30 GMT.

The cyclist was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital with what police described as "suspected serious injuries".

The driver of the vehicle initially stopped, but then left the scene before officers arrived, the force said, appealing for witnesses.
