Connah's Quay: Man flown to hospital after 'serious assault'

Police were called to the Dock Road area of Connah's Quay

Police say they have made a number of arrests after a man was seriously assaulted.

The man was flown to hospital by air ambulance following the assault in Connah's Quay, Flintshire.

North Wales Police was called to the Dock Road area at just after 17:00 BST.

Det Ch Insp Jackie Downes said police were likely to remain at the scene for some time, but there was no reason to believe there was an ongoing risk to the public.
