Storm Helene: Power loss and transport delays possible
A storm hitting Wales could lead to power loss and delays to road, air and rail travel, the Met Office has said.
Storm Helene's winds are likely to reach 40mph (64km/h) to 50mph (80km/h) with top gusts of up to 60mph (97km/h).
A yellow "be aware" weather warning came into force at 21:00 BST on Monday and will remain in place until 18:00 on Tuesday.
The warning was originally for west Wales but it has since been extended to cover the whole country.
The storm was downgraded after initial warnings it may pose a risk to life but coastal communities have been warned to stay vigilant.
"The wind will pick up as the storm moves across us," said Rhian Haf, BBC Wales weather presenter.
