Man charged with murdering his wife at Inchture address
Police ScotlandA man has been charged with murdering his wife at an address in Perth and Kinross.
Police Scotland officers were called to a property on Orchard Way, Inchture, at about 23:40 on Saturday.
The force confirmed Michelle Lizanec, 44, from Scone, was pronounced dead at the scene.
John Lizanec, 46, made no plea or declaration when he appeared in private at Perth Sheriff Court. He was remanded in custody.
He is charged with killing her by striking her on the neck with a knife or similar instrument.
Mr Lizanec was arrested at an address in Dundee after another police incident.
