Deaths of elderly man and woman 'not suspicious'

The deaths of an elderly man and woman in a village in the south of Scotland are not suspicious, Police Scotland have confirmed.

A 77-year-old man and woman aged 81 were found dead in a house in Kippford, Dumfries and Galloway, on Wednesday afternoon.

A spokesperson for the police force said a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
