Motorcylist dies after crash with car in Highlands

A motorcyclist has died after a crash with a car in the Highlands.

Emergency services were alerted to the collision at about 11:10 on the A835 near Garve on Saturday.

Police said the 65-year-old male rider was pronounced dead at the scene. No-one else was injured.

A spokesperson said the road was closed for investigation work, and drivers were being asked to avoid the area.
