Woman's body discovered on beach at Fortrose

A woman's body has been found on a beach in the Highlands.

Police said members of the public made the discovery near Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club at 08:30 on Saturday.

The woman has not been identified by police and her death is being treated as unexplained.

She was in her late teens to early 30s and was wearing black Gap trousers. Police urged anyone concerned about a relative or friend to get in touch.
