Woman who died in A83 crash near Tarbert named by police
A woman who died in a crash in Argyll has been named by police.
Amanda McAulay, 27, died at the scene after her blue Peugeot 107 and a white Vauxhall Mokka collided on the A83, north of Tarbert, on Friday morning.
Three occupants from the Mokka - a 49-year-old woman and two men, aged 57 and 19 - were taken to hospital in Glasgow. Staff describe their conditions as serious but stable.
Police said inquiries into the cause of the crash are continuing.
The road was closed for about nine hours while investigations took place.
Sgt Sean Dempsey reiterated an appeal for information, particularly for dash cam footage. People can contact the Police Scotland non-emergency line.
He previously said a number of people had stopped at the scene to help and had spoken to officers.
