Man, 44, arrested by police in Lanark murder inquiry

A 44-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating the alleged murder of a man in Lanark.
Robert Yuill, 33, was found unconscious on the town's Smyllum Road at 09.45 on Saturday. Emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene.
Following a post-mortem examination his death was treated as murder and police set up an online portal.
Police Scotland said the 44-year-old had been arrested in connection with the death and inquiries were ongoing.
Det Insp Vicki Douglas said earlier: "Our thoughts remain with Robert Yuill's family and friends at this very difficult time."
